Martin Ecknig Named Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year

For the China Chapter of CoreNet Global


On CoreNet Global Summit in Washington, D.C. in October, Martin Ecknig, Head of Siemens Real Estate Business Administration Region Asia-Australia, and Senior Vice President Siemens Ltd., China, was named the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Executive of the Year for the China Chapter of CoreNet Global. The award recognizes the CRE executive who has made outstanding and distinguished contributions to his or her company and to the profession, focusing on achievements within the past year.

In 2011, Martin Ecknig became Chapter Chair of CoreNet Global China Chapter. He has been actively engaged amongst local members in chapter offerings, innovative programs and alignment with CoreNet Global’s strategic plan. The membership recruitment and retention keeps developing and growing. Now over 180 members of corporate real estate and workplace professionals, service providers and economic developers meet in CoreNet China activates to develop networks, share knowledge, learn and thrive professionally.

With rich experience in Siemens, Martin has been working 31 years in Siemens and 5 years in Siemens Real Estate. Under his leadership, and because of his dedication and efforts in the CRE industry in China and Asia, Siemens Real Estate has been experiencing a continuous improvement from site selection, project & construction management, business administration, operation & facility management.
